Reo Speedwagon Reveals Band Will Stop Touring In 2025 Due To Irreconcilable Differences

REO Speedwagon To Cease Touring in 2025

Band Members Announce Retirement Plans

'Irreconcilable Differences' Cited as Reason for Farewell Tour

REO Speedwagon, the legendary rock band known for hits like "Keep on Loving You" and "Can't Fight This Feeling," has announced that they will be retiring from touring in 2025.

The decision was made after careful consideration and discussions among the band members. They cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their decision to stop touring.

"It's been an amazing journey, and we've had the privilege of sharing our music with fans all over the world," said Kevin Cronin, the band's lead singer. "But after much thought and discussion, we've decided that it's time for us to step away from touring."

The band's farewell tour will begin in 2024 and will include dates in North America and Europe. They plan to play all of their classic hits, as well as some new material.

"We want to thank our fans for their unwavering support over the years," said Cronin. "We hope to see you all on the farewell tour and give you one last chance to hear us play live."

REO Speedwagon was formed in 1967 and has released 16 studio albums. They have sold over 40 million records worldwide and have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The band's decision to retire from touring is a major loss for the music industry. They have been a beloved live act for decades, and their fans will miss seeing them perform.

However, the band members say that they are proud of their accomplishments and that they are looking forward to the next chapter in their lives.

"We've had an incredible run," said Cronin. "We're grateful for everything that we've achieved, and we're excited to see what the future holds."
